How much can compression reduce my file size?
Typically 60–80% for photos without noticeable quality loss at the default setting. The quality slider lets you balance file size vs. image quality.
Will resizing affect image quality?
Making an image smaller maintains quality well. Making it larger than the original (upscaling) will reduce sharpness since no new detail can be added.
